Pro Mechanics

Cycle Tech UK members are encouraged to work to the highest standers in the cycle industry and each member is committed to maintaining high standards of practice, set out by Cycle Tech UK

All members have technical & business support and work to Cycle Tech UK standers of practice.

Level 2 Mechanic:

Our minimum level as a Cycle Tech UK member.
Has a minimum qualification of Cytech 2 DT Swiss wheel building (or equivalent recognised qualification) stock, tools, (to our list) insurance and mobile workshop set out by Cycle Tech UK

Level 3 Mechanic:

Has a minimum qualification of Cytech 3, (or equivalent recognised qualification) A large stock level, (to our list) Knowledge of DT Swiss hubs, professional toolkit and time served of 2 year as a member of Cycle Tech UK
Our minimum level to be instructor for the home bicycle mechanics school

Pro Mechanic:

Has a minimum qualification of Cytech 3, (or equivalent recognised qualification) and NVQ in Campanolo, high end wheel building, City & Guilds in Disc Brake & Suspension, Di2 set-up. Kept updated regularly with training and knowledge of the latest products. Each Pro Mechanic carries a full professional tool kit, a large stock of Shimano, Campagnolo, DT Swiss hub spares, enabling to work on high end bikes, with a fast fix time, from a mobile service centre. A minimum time served of 3 years as a member of Cycle Tech UK.
